Peanut and Raisin Cookies

Preparation:

Cooking:

250g oats

100g plain wholewheat flour

50g raisins

50g raw unsalted peanuts

100g brown sugar

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1 1/2 ground ginger

1/2 tsp baking powder

pinch salt

200ml sunflower oil

20ml milk or water

Add to basket
Heat over to 200 C/400 F/Gas 6
Mix dry ingredients
Add oil, mix well
Add milk, to make a firm mixture
Heap spoonfuls on to oiled baking tray, flatten into 4 inch rounds
Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, until golden
Cool on wire rack

Makes 15 - 20 biscuits
