Cheesy Oatcakes

Preparation:

Cooking:

200g Oatmeal

25-30g Quaker oats (jumbo or instant)

1 tbsp of oil  (Rapeseed/Sunflower oil)

½ tsp bicarbonate of soda

Pinch of salt

65-75ml Luke warm water

Adding left over cheese grated, dependant on how much you have or how cheesy you want the oatcakes.

Add to basket
  1. Pre heat oven  180c
  2. Mix all dry ingredients’ together, then add oil and cheese, you must work quickly as the mixture will cool. Make into a dough that is a little sticky.
  3. Roll out dough on floured/oatmeal covered surface and cut out thin or thick shapes.
  4. Place of baking tray, bake till lightly brown for about 10-15 minutes, then flip them over and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
