Oat and Coconut Crunchy Flapjack

4oz demerara sugar
4oz butter
4oz golden syrup
8oz Quaker Oats
2oz coconut
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg
Add to basket
1. Melt the sugar, butter and syrup gently in a large pan.

2. Cool slightly then add the dry ingredients followed by the beaten egg and mix well.

3. Place into a non-stick shallow baking tin (you can grease with butter if needed).

4. Flatten down the mixture with the back of a metal spoon.

5. Bake at 180c for 25-30 minutes.

Leave until nearly cold and cut into slices.
